The Company
Tava Energy began in 2008 with the goal of creating a company which focuses on a simple and sustainable lifestyle. Being green is not as hard as you think. Small changes in your life can create a ripple in your home and your community that collectively will have a big impact on our environment. We developed the Tava Catalog to make it easy for consumers who share our desire for a more uncomplicated life to find cool stuff by offering an eclectic mix of accessories, home and garden décor, outdoor and eco friendly gifts.
The founders of Tava are long time advocates for environmental sustainability. So we like to say that conservation is in our corporate DNA. We follow environmental practices that make sense and are the least harmful to the environment. We conserve resources where ever we can in our daily operations. Our warehouse ships product using corrugated boxes made of recycled content. Many times we use surplus boxes that have already been used once or twice. We think our consumer's are more concerned about the product instead of the box. You won't see any fancy packaging from us but we think that you share our philosophy that both human beings and nature deserve our respect.
We do not produce a paper catalog. Yes, that makes it harder for us to reach our customer, but we believe by providing the you with a great product word about Tava will get out. We believe that we can successfully balance commerce and conservation.

The Very Beginning
Pikes Peak in Colorado is only one example of the amazing beauty that Mother Nature creates. The Ute Native Americans often camped in the valleys below. The mountain was sacred to them as a place where the sun and the earth merge together and they called the sun Tava. So Tava begins with the sun. The mountains majestically stand like waves against an ocean of sky but they can never block the energy provided by the sun. Its brilliant light provides all living things the energy to survive. This is Tava Energy!
